A New snake skull nodule found by Danny Hogburn this year.

Unfortunately the nodule is quite wave worn so most of the top of the skull has worn away. The skull measures 40mm by 30mm and seems to be disarticulated. the round lump top centre of the top image is the ball section of a typical vertebra. The skull seems over large for the vertebra but this may be due to the disarticulation. There is evidence of a rib on the underside of the nodule. The nodule is broken showing a chain of vertebra through the centre. These are very faint and worn. The nodule is quite hard and difficult to prep so will be kept in its present state.
