Portunites incerta Bell Oedisoma ambiguum Bell, 1858 |
| The
most uncommon of the two species of Portunus crabs found on Sheppey.
It can be separated from incerta by the more pronounced arcs either
side of the carapace and the lack of the two raised pointed protuberances
either side of the lower part of the carapace so obvious in incerta.
This a very rare little crab and is only found occasionally. |
